I'M GOING TO READ THE PROCLAMATION FOR THE RECORD, WHEREAS PROSTATE CANCER IS THE MOST COMMON NON-SKIN CANCER DIAGNOSED IN THE MEN AND IN THE, EXCUSE ME, IN MEN AND THE SECOND LEADING CAUSE OF CANCER DEATHS AMONG MEN.
AND WHEREAS IN THE UNITED STATES ALONE, APPROXIMATELY 268,490 MEN WILL BE DIAGNOSED WITH PROSTATE CANCER AND ROUGHLY 34,500. WILL DIE THIS YEAR FROM THE DISEASE.
ARE. ADENOCARCINOMAS ARE CANCERS OF BEGINNING CELLS AND OFTEN HAVE NO EARLY SYMPTOMS. AND WHEREAS PROSTATE CANCER IS MORE COMMON IN OLDER MEN AND MORE LIKELY TO OCCUR IN MEN WITH A FAMILY HISTORY OF PROSTATE CANCER.
AND WHEREAS PROSTATE CANCER IS HIGHLY TREATABLE IF DETECTED EARLY.
AND BECAUSE OF EFFECTIVE SCREENING OPTIONS, THE DISEASE CAN BE CAUGHT BEFORE IT SPREADS.
AND AS A WHOLE, SURVIVAL RATES ARE GOOD.

SO GENETIC PREDISPOSITIONS OR BIG FAMILY HISTORY.
RECOMMENDATION IS ANYWHERE FROM 5 TO 10 YEARS BEFORE THE FIRST, DIAGNOSED RELATIVE AND REALLY RELATIVE IS FATHERS OR, YOU KNOW, ANYBODY IN YOUR FAMILY LIKE YOUR BROTHER, FIRST DEGREE RELATIVES.

I STARTED WITH THAT 40 YEAR OLD GROUP WHEN I STARTED SEEING THE DOCTORS TO MAKE SURE.
TO ANYBODY REALLY HAVING A PROBLEM WITH, WITH CANCER OR THAT PROSTATE CANCER.
RIGHT. AND AND, DOC, IF SOMEONE COULD SPEAK OF, HOW DO YOU GET CHECKED, IS THERE ANY, ANY SCREENINGS GOING ON AT THIS TIME, OR CAN YOU GO TO YOUR FAMILY DOCTOR WITH A LITTLE EDUCATION ON THAT, PLEASE? SO JUST BEFORE I, I JUST WANTED TO ADD ONE THING ABOUT THE RISK NOW HISTORY OF PROSTATE CANCER IN FIRST DEGREE MALE RELATIVES.
BUT THERE'S ALSO BREAST CANCER.
SO IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE RELATIVES, FIRST DEGREE RELATIVES WITH BREAST CANCER, THE SAME GENETIC CHANGE THAT CAN CAUSE BREAST CANCER IN WOMEN AND MEN CAN CAUSE PROSTATE CANCER, HAVE A STRONG FAMILY HISTORY OF BREAST CANCER, IN SOME CASES MELANOMA AND PANCREATIC CANCER.
YOU NEED TO TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT YOU NEED TO BE SCREENED.
IF ONE OR BOTH ARE ABNORMAL, USUALLY PATIENTS END UP BEING REFERRED TO UROLOGISTS AND THEY HAVE A CONVERSATION ABOUT THE NEED FOR CONTINUED SURVEILLANCE OR A BIOPSY, AND THE UROLOGIST USUALLY GUIDES THE PATIENT THROUGH THAT PROCESS.

IT SHOULD BE UNDERSTOOD THAT EDINBURG HAS ONE OF THE HIGHEST TAX RATES IN THE VALLEY, AND THAT LEAVING THE THE RATE AT $0.64 WILL GENERATE MORE MONEY THAN IS LISTED ON THE BUDGET.
WE ARE SUGGESTING THAT THE CITY ADOPT A NO NEW REVENUE TAX RATE, WHICH IS POINT 5754 TAKES ONLY WHAT YOU NEED. DOESN'T THAT SEEM FAIR? WORK HARDER TO MAKE THE MONEY GO FARTHER AND LEAVE MORE IN THE HANDS OF THE PEOPLE WHO NEED IT MORE?
